Sharri, in so many ways I feel like you are my long-lost sister! And you are definitely “my tribe”!! When I, by chance, caught your first video and then I continued… I found myself waiting for your next one longingly. What you say, resonates so deeply with me… (And this is a topic that is almost never discussed, that of losing our tribe, or maybe never having found it?). I finished a successful healthcare career, and also restore historic Estates, along with my husband, in Newport, Rhode Island (where hubby is from) and in the Midwest (where I’m from). Children grown, the 9-5 job left behind, friends scattered to the wind. I feel like I’m emotionally, intelligent, well traveled, well-versed, but yet the women and friendships I seek have disappeared or are simply not there in my current sphere. So glad I have found you and please, let’s plan a big Design Our Next Chapter get together in Boston sometime! Wouldn’t that be amazing? Or anywhere! I love that for a future goal…Count. Me. In!
